    hi Fellowkev, i worked there from 1968 to 1979 i wored in the experimental Dept building the prototypes very interesting job from a flat sheet of metal to a finished car

    i used to be a regular at the Tower Ballroom upto 1968 i had Ballrom dancing lessons and i would be out dancing 8 nights a week were i live now if i go to a place ware it has the room to ballroom dance i have a go and then my partener has women asking if i will dance with them nice isan't it. ;)

    we have a tidal mill just out of town at carew we walk past it regularly but over easter we had a look inside and i was thinking all these mills have closed down ware do they grind the flower now

    hi jdh, i lived in solihull up until i moved to wales i lived in stoneleigh rd, i worked at lucas when i was 19 for about one year 1962.

    i am new to the forum it looks a good site. i remember those lucas chidrens christmas parties my mom and her sister worked there it would have been in the early 50s the room would be full of kids enjoying them selves my cousin cadeau would have been with me
