Hi
I am trying to find out about Albert Harry Wilkins marrying Lucy Palmer, and where Albert and his family (father's name George Wilkins) were on the 1881, 1891 and 1901 censuses.
Best wishes
Alison
I thought Lucy may be in Northfield but wedding certificate doesn't say her father is deceased.
Thanks for mentioning Matilda as I thought that may be Albert's mother but wasn't sure either. I think he may have two brothers Frank and William Wilkins. Is that where you found Matilda on 1881...
Thanks so much. I am having difficulty finding them on the 1901 census. George Wilkins a Horsedealer. Albert Harry Wilkins a tubedrawer, Lucy or William Palmer. I know you said
Sometimes a little fib is told so you can be married in that parish. Could that apply to both bride and groom?
Hi
My Grandparents got married at Saint Gabriels in 1901, and they were both of the parish. Does anybody know which area this would be covered by on the 1901 census please?
Best wishes

Goodness footage sounds like a movie...Do you think it would have been an isolation hospital in 1921? Flora died in Q1 1922. So many of her young babies had died over several years that I thought it may have been some sort of mental hospital. I know she'd had a baby in Q1 1920 but he was alive...
Hi
I have a relative who in 1921 lived at Upper Ryland Road, Edgbaston but was actually in the above hospital. Any ideas why this hospital in Perry Barr when surely Dudley Road hospital would have perhaps been nearer?
Best wishes
