    More Stetchford, on Hodge Hill Road, on the 55 bus route Yes frogspawn I remember it well as you say we ate it all, my mum was horrified when I said my best school meal was meat pie( Center piece) with baked beans and mash, with Gravy, Gravy on Baked beans she said!!! , but I loved it

    Being good wiht needle and thread and ofcause a sewing machine, I remember helping the needlework teacher to make 28 pair of bell bottom trousers for H.M.S Pinafore that was being staged at Hodge Hill, I was asked a few times by some of the cast, please take the trousers in Lol

    I remember mum getting on at me not to keep sucking the barley sticks until they became pointed just in case I fell and I got stabbed in the throat,(think she just wanted a bite,) love liquorice too , do you remember liquorice comforts, I used the red ones for lipstick thanks for the memories

    And sometimes there was a blockage in the liquorice and if you sucked too hard it would unblock and hit the back of your throat and even come out of your nose,lol but still loved sherbet fountains ,thanks for the memory
