    Len with regards to your memories of the 56 cup final just to let you know one of your heroes from that game Gordon Astall was my Co-Op insurance man here in Torquay for years, he is still a very fit man a superb darts player . he lives just up the road from me .All the best jim.

    Just seen your reply to Kenyon st from august,if you go to reply Number 8 you will see a photograph of 2 houses with an entry between them we lived at the rear of these houses and I think 67 is the one on the left we lived at 1/65.jim .

    Does anyone remember St Pauls school On the corner of Spencer st and Warstone lane it was demolished in the 60's.I attended there for 5yrs from 57 to 62.Can't find any details of school or any Photo's.

    Many thanks for all the pictures that have been sent,the one showing workplaces was our yard area with a view over the back of the police station.There in the right hand corner was a small factory i think it was some kind of acid cleaning firm run by a father & son.

    We used to live in Kenyon st just over the road from The Gothic it was allways busy in the 50s & 60s,a lot of the Cannings and Lucas workers gave it a good lunchtime and early evening trade.Sad to see such afine building painted pink

    I lived in Kenyon St from 1958 till 1963 and went to St pauls school on the corner of Spenser St and Warstone Lane This area was then a slum clearance area and most houses were demolished in the late 60s.Has anyone any memories of the school and the area. Jim
