I've just come across this picture I took back in 1990 (I think judging by the other photos in the wallet it was in).

in the late 80's I remember a girl who worked with my dad saying she'd come home the evening before & found Ozzy sitting in her kitchen drinking tea. Apparently he'd been at school with her dad and had been in the area that day & just knocked on the door on the off chance he still lived there!

The road trip series' were great. I hope they make more.

Mr Bills was great. Used to go there in the 80's Saturday lunchtime then get chips & sit in pigeon park waiting for Costers to open of an evening. Pretty sure Costers will be one of my first ports of call when the lockdown restrictions are over!

I know this is an old post, but I do remember this burning down. I was on a bus between Solihull & Birmingham when it was happening . I thought it was a little earlier than 88 though, as My recollection is of still living at home in Solihull, but I had moved out by 88. Could be my memory...
