    Looking closely at the census it says he was living at number 75? He was in fact at number 9.

    Hi Pedrocut, yes I have more info. Thomas was born 1810 and died 1874 where he died in Whithead rd Aston. He was married to Ann Yardley and had sons Thomas Frederick and Albert+ more…. He and his family are buried at St. Mary’s Handsworth.

    Pheasey Methodist Church Romney Way. Beacon Church Collingwood Drive terminus.

    This building was pulled down and the church has combined into Beacon Church at the Collingwood Drive terminus.

    It makes me sad reading about my grandfather’s family and the picture which is emerging is that of a desperate family. Having quite a few addresses and even the workhouse in 1864. The two sons William and Samuel having to steal maybe just to have something to eat. It was an all too common sight...
