    Trying to find anything about the above, he had brothers Robert and Samuel and may have married a Pheobe (Phebe). He is believed to have been Christened in 1783. Not much to go on I'm afraid.

    It may be that Hawthorn Terrace could just have been a block of terraced properties that were named, but were still part of poplar Rd. This is quite prevelant in Percy Rd nearby.     Oh yes! Harry Edmunds newsagents Formans Rd opposite Lucas's gate 1955's. Twice a day, once on Sundays 10 bob a week! Sundays papers weighed a ton. It was good during Christmas week with the tips, (no tax either).

    Born In Sorrento (Wake Green Rd) lived in Formans Rd, Sparkhill 1945-1962. Moved to Cheltenham, then Truro on to Crete (Greece) ended up in Dorset.
