    Yes I read it and have just sold it on....my grandfather used to live right by the depot and used to spot from their attic room.....c1905......a bit before Ian Allan brought his train refs out...lol..... I seem to recall he and his brothers logged their kops on the walls and ceilings in pencil...

    21E ??? ....... it was 3E in my spotting days way back in the 1950's !!! I had a friend that was a fireman there and he worked mostly on the Harborne line....... he had some interesting stories to tell and such a shame he never put pen to paper.

    No Way certainly not mono photos................I was going on a manufacturers sample swatches of Cobalt Blue......but I think each manufacturer has their own ideas of what they name the colours they are making now in their range

    Cheers Ray...what I've seen of Cobalt Blue is too light, I've seen so many guesses over the years of what the shade of blue it is...the most recent one was Blackberry....but who really knows ????

    That bus was often on the 2b route and we often caught it...and YES it had a plaque in the lower saloon at the drivers end telling it was on show at Festival of Britain.........does anyone know the name of the blue colour that the City Transport buses were painted in....WMPTE was Oxford...

    RTP was in Bennetts Road Alum Rock/Saltley when we supplied their vans and cars, I always remember having to take one of their vans (a Morris LDO) that had a prang round to the repairers in Silver Street Kings Heath (Karspray) ... RTP was a good customer of Arnold Genders !

    They always had their vans and vehicles from Arnold Genders in Kings Heath, when I worked at AG we always supplied RTP Crisps with their vehicles as the Genral Manager there was friendly with the owner of RTP....I think they were Villa supporters too....we supplied a lot of cars to Aston Villa...

    And there is a great DVD of the line that is sold by Tennents trains of Halesowen...it was done by John Tennent......a very worthwhile purchase I might add.......in my collection of course
