    Definatly the Warwick Road Greet Ragga, just down from Percy Road towards Acocks Green, looks like the driver is putting two fingers up to the photographer.

    the old 29a was renumbered 91 from Pheasey estate to the Baldwin and 90 back to Pheasey, it was the longest route in Birmingham, 27 miles round trip. the running time was an hour and 5 mins. each way.

    You seem to have the route ok Radiorails, except you have missed Springfield Rd. out between Wake green Rd. and the Stratford Rd. I used to drive the 90 and 91s on these routes.

    Hi. Baz. There wasnt a Mickey Tyler, I am still in touch with Richard Tyler though, another name was Haylor in that group of houses and Ken would be about your age and went to Wheelers Lane school as well.

    Yes we lived in the first group of houses as you say, other names in that group were Waltons, Barlows, Spence and Tylers.

    Where did you live then Baz?, I lived in Highters Road till I was 15, in 1952, then we moved to Highters Heath lane opposite Gorleston Road.

    There a few photos in Barrie Genes book From Kings Heath to the Country related to the school, W H Smiths in Kings Heath have the books I believe, there are 2 copies.

    Royal Warwicks 1st July 1916

    This is the medal card and gravestone in germany of my great uncle who was injured and taken prisoner of war on the first day of the Somme, he was i beleive only 17, and in the Warwicks.
