H iAstonian my mom grew up as a child there, Irene Hawkesford she lived at 13 Mount Street between 1949 till 1962 she told me her best friend was a young girl called Janet Blackmoor who lived on Butlin Street. I will ask her about Nancy thanks Astonian.

I thought it didnt extend any further, my doctors were at Streetly Rd Surgery thats how i remember it i lived on Kegworth Rd, i think it was Lennons the supermarket at the time it ran from (now Gala Bingo) down to the short heath rd

I think you have an excellent point there Dek, do you know of any way of comparing the map you showed me with googlemaps? Just to get an idea of where those buildings would have lay? The idea is a longshot i know but just curious

Dek I got the date from post #1 , my mistake, however the date 1866 is not attached to the picture in post #2 which is where i saw the aforementioned map, however i have just scrolled down to post #11 and have seen the date you mention. Quite honestly wasnt looking out for the railway lines on...
