    I remember the bowling green, can`t remember those poles. Lovely bandstand with the boatkeepers `office` below. Towards the top left allotments & further up still what we called the `firefields`? probably all house on there now. :(

    A gorgeous selection of birds. Nice to see them eating peanuts, up here they won`t touch them, only the best sunflower hearts ! Would you like to swap afew of your gorgeous birds for a barrow load of sparrows, pigeons & doves.

    Had lunch at a Toby today, chef referred to me as `fella` & my wife `darling`. Here in s/e Durham most folk are referred to as `pet` (except in a Toby):)

    As a youngster when using correspondence i referred myself as " Master (my name) Esq " These days i don`t give a hoot what people call me. I was called many names whilst in the army, most of them i couldn`t say on here ! Great times though.
