    Thanks for the picture of the Palace. I dont suppose you have any of the inside? I remember as a girl (in the early 60's) that in the Bham Mail there would be a list of all the cinemas and what they were showing. There were quite a few in the list as I remember.

    You can still get cod liver oil and malt. We do have people that come into our health food shop and order it. I laugh with them and say Mum used to give us it.....thats child abuse !!!!! Yuk !

    My Mum has just said that before Grandad took over the pub the previous landlord had hanged himself .Anybody know anything about that story? It was in the early 50's.
