The parents are Benjamin and Jane Williams - Benjamin was a master maltster. In 1851 and 1861 their home is identified as Lozells House - the houses nearby have other names or are just described as being in Lozells Road. I think it must have been reasonably affluent as they had servants. Jane

Hello Mike I must admit I hadn`t realised Lozells Road was such a prosperous area - I think John was the last member of the family to be living in that house so I guess it is likely that his assets included the value of the house. Thanks for your help Jane
