    Birmingham Nightclubs of the Past - Memories

    Bermuda Club Judy, I can confirm that the Bermuda was raided, it happened when my wife was celebrating her birthday there many years ago, the police locked the doors and detained everyone, she tells me there were even dog handlers stopping anyone escaping through the toilets, happy days eh.

    One for the Tram enthusiasts

    Birmingham Trams The reason Crick Tram Museum have not got a Birmingham Tram is probably due to the fact that our trams were of a different gauge to the rest of the country and consequently would not run on their lines.

    Brandwood End Cemetery

    Both my Gran and Great Gran are buried at Brandwood End, my wife and myself went to visit last year, and we both agreed what a lovely place it still is, sounds strange for a cemetery but thats what we felt.

    Birmingham Cinemas

    Cinemas Don't forget the Carlton in Taunton Road Sparkbrook,to my knowledge it was the only cinema in Birmingham to have a lift, I visited the area many years later when it had been demolished and was amazed at how small the site was that it had occupied.
