The Gun Makers Arms in Booth Street (?) - Gun Quarter. Photos taken yesterday..

Sadly, the George and Dragon pub has been in this state for some time. The idea was to use the facade as a frontage for a wine bar and build apartments (of course) at the back. Then came the recession. I wonder if it'll ever be completed?

The Queens Arms Carolina, the one down...erm...Newhall Street I think. It is a great series isn't it? I'm really enjoying it but have to record it so that I can concentrate on the plot rather than the locations!

I've got lots of blackfly and ants on my evergreen clematis. Presumably the ants are "milking" the blackfly? Will they do any harm?
