    Looking at the chimney in the background of #4. There are no chimneys of the same shape on any of the images of the BSA factory prewar, I see your point about the cobbled road surface, it seems the road goes off to the right.

    Hi Jan,I was born in Sparkbrook in 1947. I went to Golden Hillock secondary School in the early sixties..I had school friends that lived in Armoury Road, I know the area well. I can remember a lot of the bomb damaged buildings in the area. As children we used to play in them. Some of the markers...

    Stratford Road Schools

    Hi Butterfly..I think there must have been many injuries on that piece of playground equipment ..I remember it has being good fun..we would go there in the evenings ,the playground was always open and we could ride our bikes there.
