    Yardley Cricket Club

Did it become Sheldon Marlbrough Cricket Club? If so the club still exists, https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/sheldonmarlboroughcricketclub/ but it may be another club. Or was it the club just off The Causeway? Seem to remember a cricket club up there some years ago

    Help needed please.

With my two sons they noted exact times at births and wrote it down on birth cards they gave us. They were born at Heartlands in the 1990's. Whether this is something new or something they've done for years I don't know. We made up birth boxes and the birth cards are in these boxes. Maybe...

Where would they have been buried?

You could try https://www.williamhpainter.co.uk/ They have long been established in the area and if they dealt with the funeral i'm sure they would hold the records.

Birmingham City first home game at St Andrews 1906

Some articles seem to list the game was kicked off by a J C Holder but Wikipedia doesn't list a Holder in the squad of 1906/07 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1906%E2%80%9307_Birmingham_F.C._season but a J C Holder is mentioned in another Wikipedia article but he is listed as opening the...

Birmingham City first home game at St Andrews 1906

Just found this on another auction site, although no picture it indicates the programme had "covers" and "the contents inside are okay" so I would say it was a proper programme. https://www.footy-progs.com/live-public-auctions/sale-no-17-thursday-8th-august-2013-view-brochure/ LOT 0039...

Birmingham City first home game at St Andrews 1906

The link shows a 31 page souvenir booklet, two thoughts, would they have gone to this much trouble to produce a booklet then only produce a single sheet for the programme or did they only produce a single sheet in the hope of selling the booklet...

    Stechford

Lottie, just thought it could be Garretts Green Lane as it sort of sounds right, also thought of Remploy and wonder what it was known as prior to becoming Remploy, maybe some knew it by its previous name although it may have been purpose built. Just wondered if the Newton Bullocks bit could be...
