    Fox and Goose Hotel Washwood Heath

    Wasn't the fox and goose famous in the 70's for being the pub with no beer? Believe they had some sort of dispute with the draymen who refused to deliver beer. The pub remained open selling spirits only in order to keep the licence going and the pub open. Something me Dad told me so no real details.

    I seem to recall that the first, and last, to travel over the flyover where a group of cyclists. Do recall seeing pictures of them but alas cannot find them at the moment, as this thread is just starting thought one of the first pictures, if someone has it, could be that group of cyclists.

    From the picture it shows a sign for toolman, toolman yardley now has a shop on the Coventry Road by what was the Good Companions, I wounder if he started his buisiness there or if he used this site for storage at sometime, might be worth asking if he is/was connected to this building
