Thats the Capitol Dek Alum Rock Road the caption is for the Carlton Saltley it became a cinema in 1912 with a name change to the Coliseum . Bombed during a Air Raid in 1941

ragga its just come out of a workshop that's how I used to ferry them back to their Garages and how the use to leave Tyburn Road it would help if we had a year:)
By the look of the cars one looks like a Vaxhall Viva & could the other one be a Vaxhall?
Also when did Tyburn Road works close...

I started when my Mom & Dad passed away within 3 months of each other in 1984-85 but only in a fashion. But seriously when my younger Sister died a couple of years later and realise that we were the next generation and my Children needed to know. Something I never thought to do.

Alan there are 9 parts I believe when you look at your programme listings if you do have a look at BBC4 and see most weeks it has great History on there from the War to music including Rock:)

Striver, still get Pig Trotters, Chitterlings,Liver & Black Pudding when available. Can get the Liver and Plastic Black Pudding. The others when I see them.
I introduced them to all my lads when they were young, but the 27 and the 21 year old still like them.
