found this one in our box of family photo's I am the guy front left the only one other I can name is the chap next to me Roy Haynes ? take at Upper Thomas St Senior School when Mr York was the Headmaster.

any one know were about's this shop was on the Parade ( no one left to ask any more ) So sad only wished I had ask before all family had left us .
My late cousin ALBERT LAMB worked at Hardy Spicer And was the Hardy's Brass Band Leader before moving job's to Parkinson Cowen Stechford.
I used to go to band practice with him for a short while.
Anyone one remember Albert ?
In 1957 GEC Witton had a domestic dept that made Hair Dryers & Vacuum cleaners Bill Turnock was the foreman if my memory is correct,worked there for 6 month's as part of my training as an EDO apprentice .
My uncle Fred Jenney worked at Landor Street after the second World war.Dad worked at Witton along with my cousin Derek.Dad worked on Airfield Becon's
during the war.
i joined GEC in EDO 1957 as an Apprentice
