    D.N.A. TESTING

With France's alleged reputation for infidelity and promiscuity this is probably to protect politicians and statesmen

    D.N.A. TESTING

Very interesting comments especially regarding Ancestry who probably have the largest DNA database available to the likes of you and me. I have a large family tree on this site but am no longer subscribed to this company as features that were part of my original membership are no longer...

    Good classical music on YouTube

Not "Classical" but one that makes me emotional with fond memories of my Dad's "party piece" After a couple of pints he would sing this, he even joined the band at my wedding reception and entertained us complete with plenty of handkerchief waving from him and elder relatives:)

    Gone out of fashion

    Mapledene Junior & Infants School

I was in the same class as Trevor at Mapledene. After we left he went to Sheldon Heath and I went to Camp Hill grammar and we didn't see much of each other after that. The Nicholls family in Mapledene lived in the little grove opposite the three story flats. I remember Donald who was a year...

    Mapledene Junior & Infants School

I think I'm confusing you with another family named Nicholls who lived in Mapledene road. I too lived in Greenvale Ave. Was Greenfield House one of the 6 story blocks? I had a friend who lived on the top floor of one of the blocks, Trevor Slater.

    D I Ray on ITV

Watched the first one last night. Watchable but not brilliant. Been away from Brum for too long to recognise most locations but remembered a couple and of course the Library of Birmingham stood out. Some genuine sounding Brummie accents but a couple of dodgy ones too. Will watch tonight's...

    Gone out of fashion

We have always had a butter knife since we were first married and I have to agree with you Viv it's a lot better using one to spread even if the butters a bit cold. Our present butterknife, not antique or anything but does the job it's designed to.
