    Didn,t know it was due for demolition I know it is having a large extension being built on the playground area.I was a 19 year old electrical apprentice and I work on the building must have been about 1963.I must be getting old they are knocking buildings down that I worked on the next one to go...

    Hi Lyn Thats the best Photo of the Turks Head i,ve ever seen its on the corner of Bloomsbury St the bus is the 43 going toward Nechells Green and you can just make out Bloomsbury Library on the Saltley Rd Great stuff thanks for posting.Dek

    Of course not Mike don,t know why I said that I know where the Selly Park Tavern is just past the old BBC at Pebble Mill.The pub in question I only went there once one Saturday night in the 60s they used to have gigs on in an upstairs room took a girl there but as it was the wrong side of town...

    This Is why I seldom go to the doctors. Being in the middle of an attack of Virtigo the doctor advised me to be careful when showering not to let to much water get into my ears as this can unbalance the ear drums.I often wonder if we have qualified people all singing from the same hymn sheet.     I am 68 and have never had a problem with wax in my ears but do suffer from Tinnitus and occasional attacks of vertigo. Dek

    His name was Brian Harris he lived down in the dip almost by Cranbury St he would have been about 18 in 1960 I lived with him for a bit after a fall out with my stepdad. Dek
