    Violet and Frank Sheargold were still living at 110 Tower Road in 1965 ,i found Dorothy and William Dodson living in Mansfield Road in 1965 couldnt find them in Mansfield Road before that

    Trying to find any info on George Harper born abt 1893 can`t find anything about him. His parents were George and Mary Ann Harper nee Fowler I found a George on the 1911 census in the Royal Warwicks Regiment but don`t know if he is my George my Great uncle.Trouble is a lot of George Harpers...

    Hi Lyn i just wondered why girls were sent to Lozells in the 60`s i assumed the school closed then according to Aston lad it closed down in 1984 shame it was pulled down as it was a really nice building.The one over the road i know is still there we done pottery and needlework there we did have...

    I have found a burial for Martha Simons 24th Aug 1828 at St Phillips husband Williams Simons and living at Colehill street Martha was born in 1779. William is on the 1841 census living as a lodger. I will keep on looking for their birth`s. Carol

    Doctors

    In the 1950`s i lived in Gt Colmore st Edgebaston our doctor was Dr Lorset in Cregoe St i remember as a lovely man as i spent a lot of time at the doctors when i was a child. When we moved to Aston and lived in Tower Road it was Dr Gittins across Park Lane down another road which i can`t remember.
