once went to the sportsman one saturday before going the blues had a few pints and was leaving didn,t notice some one was coming in i bumped into the door ended up with a black eye(i wasn,t drunk).lol

the maitland is always packed went there a few weeks ago to a 21st wasn,t to bad in there.There is also a men only club just 200 yards up the road not sure what its called.

When i win the pools im going to buy a pub and call it THE STAB INN what do you think?:D:D

great picture i used to go there friday nights to the dances also used to fish for them used to get the coaches on a sunday mornings for the fishing matches.many times ive waited for the coaches hung over oh happy days.:)

hi all when i was a wee lad growing up in Saltley there was a club on the Alum Rock rd not far from the gate pub called The Jigsaw club just wondered if anyone knew why it was called the jigsaw club?or if anyone remembered it? thank you. Roger
