Yes! If you lifted the receiver and the other party was not using their phone you had to push the button to get the dialling tone.

I have a Lebara SIM and for £5 per month I get 1000 minutes phone calls, 1000 texts, 100 international calls (45 countries) and 5GB 4G/5G data. No contract. I think Smarty do a similar SIM only deal. I only have experience of Apple iPhones the advantage over non-Apple ones being Facetime video...

I use an application called Irfanview which will open these pics and save them as jpgs. A very useful and fast app.

I have looked at the registers - in 1980 both Robert and Gudrun were listed at 69 Faulkner Road but neither was there in 1981. We know Robert died in September 1980 but I couldn’t find any information on what happened to Gudrun.

When I attach a photo to a post as a thumbnail I just see the photo whereas everyone else's pic has the file name, size and number of views underneath it. I've tried 'Attach Files' and 'Insert Image' but both give the same result. It probably doesn't matter but I would like to know why!!!
