    Yardley Cemetery Plot Map

Mrs V - My map shows graves dating back to the 1930's. Having read your original message (again - more carefully this time!) I see you're looking for something more recent. The whole site is large so I guess there are separate maps for each area so your best bet, as suggested by Janice, would be...

    IN OUR GARDEN 2024

Collected seeds from two poppies last autumn and sowed them three weeks ago. Seeds should be sprinkled onto damp compost and lightly pressed in but must not be covered.

Two versions - have you plaster by your left eye or is it a blemish on the photo? Can remove if you would like.

My Effort: Original file is a bit small (60kb). If you could scan it with a higher resolution it may give a better result (or may not!!).

St Benedict 's Road Small Heath

My great-grandmother lived at 134 St Benedicts Road from about 1921 to 1928. Looks a bit different today - the only bits that seem to be the same are the black bricks (?) under the upstairs windows.

    Computer help

Having use Google Chrome for many years, I have never come across Google Web Store! I'm wondering if it has been unwittingly added at some time. Assuming you don't use/need it, check your extensions - click the extensions symbol on the right of the chrome address bar or click the three dots to...

A few more things to try if you haven't already: Right click on the taskbar and select 'Startup'. All items can normally be disabled except anything relating to antivirus/security. Then look in the Processes tab and check that none of the items on the top line are running near 100%. Memory...

    Our childhood toys

Going back to trains - my dad bought me this loco must be mid to late '50's. It still sits in its original box but the writing on the lid faded into obscurity many years ago although I have managed to bring it back to life using the scanner. The engine ran on a 5-pole motor rather than the usual...

    IN OUR GARDEN 2024

The azaleas and rhododendrons are looking good at the moment - the orange one didn't flower at all last year. The grass is a nightmare though - you can almost see it growing!

Bluebells in my front bed. The more I dig them out, the more they multiply! On the plus side, once they are over the flowers and leaves can be pulled up leaving a clear space for the summer bedding.
