    All that poultry hanging outside makes me wonder how people survived without getting food poisoning, even inside my shop with a chill cabinet we had to be very careful of blow flies dropping their eggs on any unwrapped meats, maggots develop very quickly.

    Dad made a large Loco for my younger brother, I remember watching him roll out the tinplate and soldering on the chimney and all the joints, making the axles and fitting the heavy duty wheels and tyres, then painting it red with gold lines, it was pretty indestructible and might be still around...

    My dad's clock is similar, doesn't work now although it did until a year ago, local clock repairer asked for over £300 to fix it.

    When my daughter phoned today she asked how big the chocolate bar was because she couldn't tell from the picture when she ordered it, I got a "Oh my god!" when I told her it was just a bit bigger than my computer keyboard. :)
