    I have Thomas Chinery c 1st April 1782 who married Jane Swift at St Martins 1803 Their daughter Mary b 1809 married James Bowen in 1829 at Edgbaston. James Bowen was a clock maker. Sorry I do not have any details for any other Chinery off spring.

    Hi Lyn How I wish I could show you some I remember seeing photos when I was young but who knows what happened to them. Like a lot of the belongings of the older generation probably got through out when they died.

    My first child was born there in 1962 does my memory serve me right that the front was a big old house. I think after the birth I was in the front room looking out onto the garden and Heathfield road.

    I remember making those window leathers I used to catch the bus from Kitts Green to Aston Cross it must have been two buses. We used to sit for hours putting the chamois scraps onto the string. Then it was back with the finished product. I can't remember how long we stuck with it but I am sure...
