    hi .i had my first son in lordswood maternity home in 1965.i beleive its been demolished for some time now.ill never forget that experience. there were twin irish nurses on delivery room that night .i really thought i was hallucinating ..must have been the gas and air they shoved on you .lolxx...

    hi jill i read you went to school on moseley road ..was it upper highgate girls school.?i went there and also mary street school.i left the girls school in 1961/62..miss robertshaw was the head mistress. would be good to hear from any of the girls who went there .my maiden name was leake....

    i used to freqent the west end ballroom ...live groups .emile ford and the checkmates .freddie and the dreamers..shane fenton now know as alvin stardust..mike sheridan and the nightriders. carl wayne to name a few and the sprung dance floor made you dance without trying .fabulous times...
