    Birmingham ship light manufacturers

    I have no idea why, but Birmingham seems to have had links to the sea, it also supports life boats, around the city you can see "sea cadets youth clubs". This does not answer your question, but it may confirm for some reason Birmingham supports the sea side. Nick S Phillips, Birmingham.
