    Perry Barr canal tip

We used to swim in that canal...not very healthy I suppose but in those days it didn't seem to matter. It was quite common to see a dead dog floating in there from time to time. Dave A

Appreciate the info, however, I've just had my laptop completely rebuilt and limiting my downloads to a minimum. Had previous VPN problems so I'll just have to put up with it. Again, I appreciate your help...someone could post the video to FB I guess.. Dave A

    Moseley school of art

Nice pictures...the first one is the main corridor through the school, where, as a first year student, you would "run the gauntlet" most days. Dave A

What music brings out your emotions?

Had the great pleasure of seeing CHER last night in Toronto. She looks and sounds incredible...I haven't seen her live since she appeared on Ready Steady Go with Sonny Bono doing I GOT YOU BABE. She actually did this song with a simulated duet with Sonny, I got a real kick out of this. Dave A

    Accents

I left Brum when I was 16 and moved to Sussex, where I lived for 10 years before emigrating to Canada. I've been here for 53 years. I consider my accent to a bit of a mix, but basically, it's mostly Brummie. I don't have a problem with most English speaking accents, however, Newfoundland, which...
