    I have just noticed on the 1911 Census that the persons address was Rocky Lane Birmingham.....

    Hi Lyn, Unfortunately I have no idea about any of the details. I was given a photo of one of my ancestors and noticed the detailing on the frosted glass. I know the person in the photo was living in Aston in 1911 if that helps narrow it down?

    Loveday Street and loveday st maternity hospital

    Hi All, I've just received a copy of my Grandfathers Birth Certificate and it states his place of birth was Loveday Street. He was born there in October 1929. His Father was a Hairdresser in Green Lane. The posts & photo's are amazing.
