    Does anyone remember Joe Hancock. I know he worked out of Sherlock Street in the 30`s as a greengrocery rounds man and it is mentioned on his death certificate in 1937. Anyone remember or know of him??????

    British newspaper archives have gone online today. Apparently with papers dating back a couple of centuries all being digitised for you to read. You can search for free, but have to pay to view. Have already found my gg uncles obituary and newspaper clipping.

    All Saints Church, Kings Heath.

    Drove past All Saints a couple of hours ago. It appears that they are digging the whole grave yard up and replacing it with a big block paved patio and some new trees. What actually happens to the grave stones they remove??

    Had a quick look....... found an Archibald hepburn resident in Cumberland,Aged 19 on enlisting, wounded in 1916 attached to the 5 The Border Regt. Could this be him???

    Wooden Roads

    I took a trip to Ironbridge last year and I remember going over a wooden road to access one of the museums (theres 10), But I cant remember which one it was. if it comes back to me i will let you know.
