    IN OUR GARDEN 2023

Lovely pics, very cheery to see, much better than all the Christmas decorations that are in the garden centres, it's too early for me. Great Hydrangea cuttings, really hoping to get an update on the one with the dark leaves next year, hope it flowers. I've put some bulbs in some terracotta...

Very interesting to see what your gardens are looking like at this time of year and garden visitors. My hydrangea are now cut and in a vase.

    Oldest Post Box in Birmingham?

Yes, we have a GR where I live and the estate was only built in the late 70's!

I think for me a lawn would be OK if as soon as it grew I had the time and motivation to mow it straight away. Lovely to see a nice lawn don't get me wrong. All of my winter pansies are in now. Oooh I didn't post yesterday and I meant to, after I'd jet washed the back garden!!!! Wahay, that's...

I like my pots, also my collection of mainly conifers and evergreens in my front garden. Lawns are nice but I don't regret taking mine up in my front garden.

I always learn stuff from you all, thanks for all the interesting info. No gardening for me today, flipping freezing here, I can't get warm.

Ants fascinate me, I know they are a nuisance, but I just find them so interesting. I used to love watching them at my families houses in Birmingham as a kid. Everything was new in Redditch, nobody had ants! I have to concentrate when using the pressure washer, one wrong move and I've blasted...

    Kat Alert! Harvest Box

That's great Steve, thanks for posting. You know if you've got to buy a ball of each colour to make that topper, it's probably not cheap. At least £2 a ball. You've got the Banksy of the topper world!!!!!!!

Just tidying for me today, winter pansies in, don't know if I said. Oh, we had 2 armed Apatche helicopters fly over at appx 3 pm. Never known that before, flying low too? Any suggestions as to why

I don't blame you giving up. I down tools completely when it's like this, I'm not good in the heat. If I can work in the shade, all well and good, otherwise forget it!!!!!

That's quite funny, The Spider Woman, typical about the nails! Interesting about the spiders, I didn't know they could bite!

Growing wild that is edible in the UK?

I'm quite fascinated by all of the information on this thread, amazing, thank you. I don't drink alcohol, but I'm interested to hear about how to make it! Fascinating to think how people made use of things years ago.
