    Richard, 264 was correct, 262 was Jacques Fruitr, 270 Red Lion I worked at Barratt & Baird at 238 Soho rd , near Pump Tavern & 341 Arthur Rose corner of Babington rd, but only as a young butcher's boy after school.

    Would you believe this was the same view in 2011, although it went back to the 2009 view later. Large tree removed.

    The excellent link shown by oldMohawk has the photo in very high resolution. The sign further on the left does say Kings Heath is 2 1/2 miles to the left, but I agree I do not recognise the front of the Horseshoe as it is seen here.
