I was at HKPS something like 1950-55 (are you on this photo?) I am not the gent with yellow circle Paul? and he apparently married the girl also yellow circled. Mrs Bunn is on her own at the very back. RobT

According to Kelly's it was owned by Harry Hodrien in 1955 and K.Evans in 1967/68
Photo just shown showing entrance to Ideal is from 'From King's Heath to the Country' by Barrie Geens first published 2006. others in the book I mentioned before.
This postcard appears in a book "Kings Heath High Street" A Nostalgic Journey by Bob Blackham and Andy Bishop
Obviously of the period, it's descriptive comment says "The right hand side shows Spier's furniture shop next door to the Hare and Hounds"

From Soho road, go down the hill of Rookery road, on the right hand side there was 'The Record Shop' at 112 Rookery Road, I went between 1962 - 64, and bought two 45rpm records. Shop was run by P.O. Deeley.
