    New Street Station From 1854 - 1966

Underneath Birmingham it says '2 HOUR EXPRESS' but I'm surprised that was possible in 1910.

    New Street Station From 1854 - 1966

I think it refers to trains leaving from Broad Street Station in London, it used to be a major station apparently.

History of Calthorpe Road B20 3LY

Nos. 3 and 5 are, I think, the ones shown on the 1920 aerial view.

Have you seen this one Lyn? admittedly it's a smidgen away from what you're looking for

    Lennox Street

Another from 1948, not brilliant quality, I'm not 100% sure of the position of No. 29.

    Lennox Street

This is the only one I can find Lyn, it's not very good, I'll keep looking.

    Wheeler Street Lozells

Just looked at Kelly's for 1967/68, I'm amazed that the street was still thriving then, no signs of any closures, so perhaps between 1968 and early 70s they were blissfully unaware of the devastation that was about to descend on them and decided to brighten up the exterior, such a shame.

    Wheeler Street Lozells

Yes very sad Lyn but also intriguing, the Gunmakers Arms can be seen on Gerrard Street but at the point where Gerrard Street crosses Wheeler Street there is a white building. This building must be the one shown on the left of the attached photo which was taken in 1968, so the question is why...

    Berners Street, Lozells

I would think around 1970, the Vauxhall Viva in the picture was produced between 1963 and 1979. Looks like a Ford Cortina Mk III in the background (1970-76)

    Berners Street, Lozells

Corner of Berners Street and Lozells Road. There appears to be another thread for Berners Street called 'Berners Street.'

    Wellhead Lane

I came across this image on the Birmingham Library website, thought to be Wellhead Lane near to Franchise Street. Looking at maps and aerial views I think it is Nos. 49-53 and a partial view of No. 55. On the much lightened aerial view you can just see the wall in front of No. 55 which is set...

    OLD AND NEW PHOTOGRAPHS

Definitely the same property Lyn, still has the original lamppost in front, a nice one too.

    Howell/Phillips/Amos shop Aston help please

On the 1921 Census the whole of the Howell family are living at that address but Kelly's does not list a shop at that address in 1921. I wonder when and why it became a shop and who converted it into a shop. Maud's mother appears to have died in 1925, I wonder if that prompted the family to open...

    Howell/Phillips/Amos shop Aston help please

The aerial view seems to confirm that this was the shop in the photograph.
