There doesn't seem to be a thread solely dedicated to this road.
Kelly's listing 1964 and partial map with house numbers 1966-1977 (rest of the map unavailable).
A current view and 1950s map of what was Millicent's, No. 85 is Greggs, No.86 is First Personnel so I would think the shop is now occupied by The Royal British Legion (well in 2019 it was by 2022 it was empty).
Hi and welcome to the forum.
5 bk 37 would refer to a court of houses which was probably accessed between house numbers 37 and 39.
If you can give the year of the census I can probably supply a map.
Looking at the 1950s map certainly Nos. 5 and 3 were quite large houses.
The 1834 map shows the retreat and a few houses, with no houses on Sutton Street whatsoever. I wouldn't be surprised if these had survived until the 1950s, looking at the dilapidated condition of the houses in the pictures...
Photo showing No. 9, there are a few other images of Whitehead road at www.leroux.co.uk/aston but this is the only one I can find showing No. 9.
I'm not sure if the house numbering was different in 1870, I will check the 1871 census.
