    I thought it was the same one,such an unusual name I have been told it is biblical it is in one of the long pedigees in the bible and means son of Jesse,sorry I spelt that wrong last time. I have never seen a photo of any the family,wonder if there was a likeness my mother in law died in 2004.

    Is there any records for evacuees during W.W.II from Birmingham, If there are would they be in the Archives at Birmingham library.

    Where did the thin sliced loaf go its all medium and thick and toastie which is a thicker slice.Still theres nothing like a fresh crusty loaf.

    Oh I hate to find out that they died so young but realise it happened in those times,I wonder when the census was taken as she died in 1841,at least I know what happened to her It didn't occur to me to look at the deaths.

    Not sure what it is called now as The Gospel Oak has had a couple of name changes,but its still there the Moonraker has gone.I lived off Gospel Farm Road must be twenty years ago my children went to Lakey Lane my daughter went onto Pitmaston but it closed after her first year.

    St Cyprians Church is still there,and so are the cottages my father and his father worked at the wire mill Horsfall they also built the cottages for thier workers I believe also owned houses around the area.There is another entrance to the wire mill at the end of Speedwell Road,Horsefall also...
