My dad was the manager at Roses and I believe it was also called Suttons for a while. The 33 terminus was at Finchley Road and Kings Road just across from a Pub, was it the Kings or The Kingstanding pub, I can't remember, my aunt lives on Hatchum Road two blocks from the bus terminus.

My dad used to work at the greengrocers shop on Kings Road just where the 33 bus terminus was, this back in the 50's, it was called Roses and a few other names too, his name was Stan, he was the manager for a while, anyone remember him, he passed away in 2002.

I lived there for years, do you have the names of the people you were friends with?

For most of my child years I lived in a prefab at 1 Desford Avenue (now the M6 motorway) on the Beeches Estate. I have a picture of them somewhere that I will post as soon as I find it.

Just wondering if this Les was a short guy and a little chubby who loved to spin around down in the corner of the rink, he would cross arms with you and as you pull your arms in you would go faster, could this be the chap. Andrew
