    I worked part time at a butchers in Cotteridge when I was fourteen. One of my jobs on a Saturday, was to take apart, and clean, the bacon slicer. It need much respect. :D Steve.

    A surprise this morning when I filled the feeders. We had a visit from a female Blackbird, and a Thrush. Neither of which would stay still for a decent picture, but did manage this quick one of said Thrush. Robin was more obliging. But not fully. :laughing: The usual suspects were...

    Not much sign of life in the garden now. We have had some dreadful winds and rain. Very few birds are visiting, wisely finding shelter inland, I guess. Strangely, a wee Dunnock did pay a visit. Steve.
