Another very familiar feature of Corporation Street. And so useful for timing your bus while waiting at the bus stops nearby. Think Nathan’s must have sold Rolex’s - crown just visible. So an upmarket jewellers. Viv.

Here is a picture probably pre-1971._The Kings Head. The clock was transferred to Birmingham centre. Probably removed in 1971 and renovated in 1979.

It had the Kings Head pub sign hanging from it !!
I used to always check the time on the clock on the Rotunda, when I was coming into town on the bus. I was usually "fashionably" late.

Great piece Pedro, sad there is not a photo of this monument, should be, as photography was starting to be widely used by 1853.
