hi gang, i'm about to book a slot at Kew to look at the war diaries of the 1st Garrison Battalion RWR. Before I do, i wondered if anyone has already got a transcription available which will save me a journey? I'm after December 1916 until they disbanded early 1919. Thanks in advance

Have you posed the same question on https://www.greatwarforum.org/forum/1-soldiers-and-their-units/ ??

A lot of very knowledgeable people on there concerning all events WW1 who may be able to help.

@pjmburns I know, I've got quite a few diaries for the Worcesters, what they are excellent for though is what the battalions were up to and where they were based. This is exactly what I'm after for the 1st garrison battalion, i know they were at Abassia but i'd like to know what they actually did there. @RRJ thanks for thw tip... thats my next visit (before Kew) ;)
