Hello the Baron, My parents lived at 3 back 192 tower road around 1960 the Cleavers, i remember the whitehouses/willingers the coal lady but i was very young then,but always remember the smell of beer and brown sauce. Never seen pics of where our house was on the road. regards AstonGazz

JOHN , This is the out side of the ANX in Tower Rd, in the Pic is My Mom & Dad + My Brother we are just of on our holidays down to Devon in the 1960s.
We lived in the house to the left of the pic; the opening at the side lead to H.P. vinagar brewery car park

Hello John,
my mum Beryl Cleaver says she went to school in this building, the Ellen Knox Hall an overspill for Upper Thomas St School. Her family lived 3 back 192. Does anyone else have memories of this or remember her or the Cleavers? This would be 1950s.
