Lindsey, I am Clarendon St ( 53 to 69 ) born and bred, I lived further down the street on the other side, I cannot say that I knew your family, just before my time, my dad, uncle and myself all went to Burlington St School and Upper Thomas Street as well, Brummie John has posted a photo of Clarendon St from above and correctly mark the house where you Green family for a while, but they seemed to have lived at number 43 Upper Webster St from around 1945 til about 1963, now if you look at the photo Upper Webster Street is just on the left, 43 would be a few doors down from the corner, I think it the second house in from the left, the view is of the back of the house, They may have moved during the war due to bomb damage, all that area beyond the house was destroyed by the German bomber trying to bomb Millers and probably Norton motor bike factories, that area was our play ground the old bomb peck, Aston Manor school is now build on it .
