1st touch on a Computer

Bought an Amstrad THING around mid 80's from PC World for daughter but tried setting it up and couldn't get anything to work so took it back...surprisingly they did...lol think it was either 299 or 399 pounds.
Next time was a Windows 1998 with dial up....had got a teen son by then so he got it going ..ha ha.......I still have hardly any idea what's what with computers but spend hell of a time on them.
Just got a new one with Win11 and they tell me it's twice as good as the standard ones....it is quick though........I am setting it up myself so have managed to learn a bit.
Have a loft full of old ones and especially printers that are all pants...
