Now 'The William Tyler' operated by Wetherspoons. I don't think they do 6d and 1/- drinks though!

Ray's Wallpapers, at the end of the row was still operating until a few years ago.

Fine Fare is now Iceland.

I went in The William Tyler this week. I couldn't find the Pick n Mix but Ruddles was on for 99p a pint! Not for me though.... I did find a lovely old staircase and hand rail that spoke of bygone days....

I am led to believe that their store in Wolverhamptons Mander Centre was the largest in the UK.

When they closed the record department they had albums selling for £0.99 each, i must have bought
a couple of dozen over the course of a few days.
