The "cottage" is next to the site that was used for the library. The school `top left is the junior school on Warwick Rd and St Mary's church centre back hasn't got its spire it came later! There is a tram at the Green, the building with "Player's" ad in front of the school is in Westley Rd. I went to the school in 1940's I used the library, my parents married at St. Mary's. Deep Acock's Green roots!

could someone post todays view please...its so different now i am not certain...thanksThis view looking up Shirley Road from the village centre shows the same building on the right of the road, behind the parked car. It's dated 1931, so must have been taken shortly before demolition.
