hi maxtone....thanks for that info but can i ask again exactly what sort of information you are seeking about minnie ? and do you have the original birth certificates for the twins ?

if i do have the correct minnie on the 39 census she went on to get married but due to the sensitive nature of this enquiry we need to be certain...

They tried but apparently they were lost in a fire. There is confusion about her age they were told she was in her mid 30's but with a photograph we have it doesn't seem so

She also lived with the family for four years and is not on the pre war census. So not sure where to go next. There is no mention of who the father was. Didn't know if there would be any details of her at the welfare institute

If you have her name do you also have their original birth certs? If so it should give an address for .Minnie.

Was this answered? The birth certificates seem the best bet (if not already seen). There are 3 birth registration listings (including the one for the name change), I'm not sure if that means there would be 3 birth certificates.

She may well be on the 1939 reg but still blanked out as there are anomalies. Do you know where the Challenders lived?

Apologies for all the questions but the more you tell us then it makes it easier for us to search.

There's a Peter and Ronald Challender at 475 Warwick Road on the 1960s ERs. The family appear to be there on the 1939 Register also.
