A proper star, and a proper Brummie, never lost his roots. Thanks for helping me make the right music choices , and making my mom hate you:innocent: In fairness it was loud in our house:joy:

Its the family who will be hurting, so I hope they can cope, and be happy. Its what he would want, I'm sure.

Please believe me, my love, and I'll show you
I will give you those things you thought unreal
The sun, the moon, the stars all bear my seal"

I couldn't believe the sad news, when my son texted me with it last night. His last show was a fitting tribute though and he gave it everything he had. "Back to the Beginning" it certainly was and once again Birmingham was linked around the world with our Ozzy, as it was again yesterday on the news of his passing.

Ozzy was one of our own and Sabbath's final concert, was an opportunity for his fellow musicians and for those fans fortunate enough to be there, to show their appreciation. They will in the many years to come say "I was there". Ozzy sang "Mama, I'm Coming Home" on the night and I think that said it all. He had tears in his eyes at Villa Park, but he was so determined to give us his best and his smiles showed how much the night meant to him. My thoughts are with Sharon and his the Osbourne family, as well as with Tony, Bill and Geezer, Thanks for the memories and the music Ozzy. RIP - HEITS. Born in Aston, I think? He was a funny guy at times, but you reap what you sow, and his lifestyle was a doomed one from the start
